Your pronunciation of the Hebrew “resh” is pathetic. It should sound like the French r and NOT like the English r. Get real man!!!

@@TracyR4unfortunately he’s correct , Israelis pronounce the R from back in their mouth into the throat region ; in Israel when we hear the R pronounced differently we can tell the person was not educated in Israel or their teacher was was from abroad. Shalom .
After trying so many apps podcast and RUclips videos, I found this lesson. This makes all the difference, I really feel I learnt so much in just 1 lesson. The way he uses simple things so we can remember the shapes and sounds is BRILLIANT!!! The best teaching method out there! I'll subscribe right now, a new student from Chile!!!

THANK YOU! You made it soooo easy at my old age to FINALLY learn Hebrew. all the other teachers did it by rote... "just memorize what I tell you" where You explain each letter, etc. Now, maybe, I'll be able to truly learn! Then I have to learn what the words mean! lol. (wish me luck there!)

aramaic is the language that jesus spoke which is nowadays spoken by Assyrians who live mainly in Syria and Turkey
@@elicemcohen Don't understand it exactly. Jesus was a Hebrew and was also in the synagogue, where they spoke Hebrew. Don't think that there are so many Arramär as genocide was carried out.
@@Klythia at the time of Jesus even Jews didn’t speak Hebrew. They spoke Aramaic. And some old Greek. It’s even mentioned in the Bible. It’s definetly not Hebrew. In fact till the founding of Israel Hebrew was not being spoken except in some communities and for prayers. Many Jewish communities didn’t even pray in Hebrew. Instead in Ladino. Yiddish. Arabic. Etc
